I wanted a 7 port USB Hub so I purchased this one for my imac. Well the first one right out of the package was defective (dead-no light) then notified customer service and another one was sent as replacement. The second one also had issues as it does not recognize my Buslink external USB hard drives nor some thumb drives it also does not have a active indicator led. Had it about 6 months and some of my ports failed working intermittently and eventually failed. I think after dealing with two of these units I would say they are not reliable and recommend the buyer go elsewhere.

unusable. does not comply to USB standards. Does not provide 500mA of power to the port even if only one device connected.

This product would not work reliablely. I could not hook up my external hard drives or camera. I ended up installing a USB PCI card.

This unit worked for about 3 day’s before shorting out! waste your money if your so inclined.
